About the Prep Day Clinic:
During this clinic, each registrant will have the unique opportunity to teach one lesson (which can be either a flat or jumping lesson) and receive feedback from an experienced Coach Developer. This practical experience is intended to mimic the actual coaching evaluation environment and provide you with a real-time understanding of how evaluations are conducted.
Preparation for the Clinic:
- Lesson Plan: You will be required to prepare a Lesson Plan for the lesson you will teach. A template for the Lesson Plan will be provided to ensure you have the right structure and elements included.
- Assigned Topics: The topic for your lesson will be assigned by the AEF office, allowing you to focus on delivering a structured and effective coaching session based on predetermined criteria.
This mock evaluation is an invaluable opportunity for you to practice and refine your coaching skills in a supportive and structured setting. You'll receive feedback that will be crucial for your development as a coach, ensuring you are well-prepared for the actual evaluation day.
